Any Advice please

I have just got my credit report and my husbands name is down as an associate, I have taken advice from a gentlemen on money saver to put a notice on my report which I have now done.

I want to obtain a contract phone even though my reports ok I am getting knocked back as they then look at my husbands report even though many defaults are cleared but will stay on there for 6 years (only 3 left.):j

Does anyone know of a contract phone company that are not as strict or that does not search your credit file as he is paying about £40 per week on topping up his phone which he needs for work. (I am trying to save money this is a ridiculous amount to pay each week):mad:

I have been with virgin network for many years and wondered if I spoke with them they might be lenient.

Don't worry about giving any advice just applied with Virgin been with them years for a contract phone keeping my phone, sim just paying monthly as husband using the phone too much. Didn't get through credit score. Even asked if I could pay in advanced couldn't do that. Funny when trying to save money you can't seem to get ripped off all the time. Even on here never given advice even though people view my messages. Just fed up thats all
