Am moving to the Clydesdale as soon as I can. I have had nothing but grief from Santander! I had a really bad year due to being iut of work, and often come end of month I was really toiling (and under £10 I could never get anything out due to their £30 over the counter policy. ) And if I had £29, you can only get then £20 out and be made to feel u have to use ur card just to get access to the rest. I tried putting in £1 to get access to a full £30 and the guy told me it had gone up to £31. so i had to pay in a quid and then wait at the cash machine anyway- cos i was a £1 under what I was allowed to withdraw in branch! They are so rude, ( had a lady comment on how little I had in my account- like it was even her business! I still have a current credit account with them. No overdraft.) An now it is minimum £50 to withdraw in branch. It is keeping happy those who going to invest the most and who cares about the poorer folk, whether they give them their custom or not. But now I DO have much better employment, wiith more money coming in- well they certainly won't have me opening anything with them to save it up. Cos when it came to me toiling, I never applied for a loan, overdraft- I put in all the money I did get, kept it in credit, made sure I never went over or hit with a charge. Money was sooo tight and all they did was refuse to give me what little money I did have- so I had nowhere to access it! They were rude, unhelpful and had no sense of respecting customer's by talking loudly while othres wait behind you. They don't open any later at all compared to other banks, which they advertised when they came over here. Also, when I opted for paperless statements they sent them anyway. I asked 3 times for a cheque book, and it never came. Bottom line. Useless- AVOID!!!

There are 10 types of people in the world.
Those that understand binary and those that do not.

And 10 out of FA people who know binary know HEX
