Seems to be a lot of negative discussion re myhermes

    Problem with Hermes Delivery Services
    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/1648725

Stay away from myhermes delivery company - total quack company
    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/1781087

and there seems to be plenty more :( if you use Forum Search "myhermes"

I've never used them (never heard of them before today) so have no personal experience of their service but reading some of these I think I might stick with RM :)

I know Viking Direct say you cant get cashback on stamps but i have done 3 orders over the last week and it has been tracked, mkae sure you buy something else as well say a cheap pen.

Personally i dont think the people they have working out the quidco payments can be bothered to try and work out what you get cash back on and what you dont and just put it through.

    Nectar points as well :j

Need to send a parcel and have had no success with this code.

It's supposed to be new customers only, but just set up a new account with a new email address and I have used it probably 30+ times without any issues. In fact I would choose myhermes over Royal Mail or HDNL any day, excellent service, our local myhermes person is so friendly and helpful. I also like the fact your package is tracked all the way along it's journey.

I am still happy to use RM for letters and small packages, I was just pointing out a cheaper alternative for some packages but people seem to be very defensive over RM, I was only trying to be helpful.

Paul Lewis on BBC News said the stamps were valid for 1 year. Does anyone have any info on that - are we talking calendar year?

The ones stamped with 1st and 2nd class should be valid virtually forever, how could they tell? I can't see any difference and I'm sure I've used ones after a year. These guys think so

    I've been Money Tipped!
I'm still using a roll of stamps we bought 5 years ago marked 1st, 2nd.

And I'm happy to pay the extra to stick with Royal Mail rather than Myhermes. Heard too many stories about poor service, plus happy to pay the extra to not have to wait in all day for a courier collection that may or may not come.

On a slightly different subject, beware that most card gift vouchers run out after 24 months.

I discovered this to my cost yesterday with an HMV card. The annoying thing is that there is no way you or the scanner can tell how long is left on the card! So all they could say to me was there is no money on it, do you want me to throw the card away?

A jolly good scam in my opinion
