That's easy, San Marino wont win the next World Cup. Can you tell me if my wife will be happy with the results of her baking in an oven bought from the DG over a period of 3 weeks Can she return it with burnt bits attached within the 21 days?

I suspect that like me you take care when opening the packaging. I've never had a problem returning stuff to Argos or Amazon.

Yes, I have often resorted to using a scalpel to carefully slice a seal

To be clear, I'm not somebody who buys stuff and takes it back as a matter of course. It's just that I will spend decent money on stuff and expect decent quality.

As we all know, marketing these days will describe a product out of all recognition and when we get that 'awesome' new £1000 camcorder home, it doesn't always turn out to be THAT awesome. I don't like being ripped off, and that is all too common with electronics.

...and if you buy a product that has been used, take it back.
