m&s card question

Hello

can someone please tell me if you get a confirmation email at all after signing up for the M&S card (15 months 0%)

I originally signed up with 1 email and assumed I typed it wrong due to not getting any sort of email from them so signed up again with another email address and it's the same situation.

I'm not expecting corfimation on the email, just a email saying thanks for applying or something just so I know it's been recieved?

It said I would be contacted within 48 hours yet this was last sunday and monday night so am I to assume I'm not eligable for it?

thanks in advance.

Same here, I got an email a couple of days after applying stating I'd been accepted.
I wonder why it is, that young men are always cautioned against bad girls. Anyone can handle a bad girl. It's the good girls men should be warned against.-David Niven

Me too I applied 2 days ago and got the same email as above yesterday
Life is not the way it’s supposed to be. It’s the way it is. The way you cope with it is what makes the difference.
  • Your credit agreement will take about five to six days to arrive the email. I sent my agreement back last Monday, so I might get my pin and card next week. So pretty much a 3 to 4 week process from application to card arrival.

I've applied but got the following e-mail

Thank you for applying for the new M&S Credit Card, the only card to be seen
with and the only credit card you'll ever need.

We endeavour to offer our Internet customers a speedy response therefore,
you will be contacted with a decision by post shortly.

So not an acceptance e-mail looks as if i may be turned down, was looking to use this as a replacement for my Egg card(for when Barclays remove the 1% cashback) thought 15 months interest free wasn't a bad alternative.
  • Thanks for the replies, seems like I'm not having much luck with them, I've emailed asking what I'm expected to do, etc and got a standard "we'll get back to you in 48 hours" email so I'm gunna wait and see what happens.

I never have much luck with the M&S website online forms - home insurance failed and I even gave up the other day trying to buy dog insurance after several attempts... M&S could do with a site revamp. Links from one of the comparison websites also caused problems.

We got the same and it took 2 weeks to get through the credit agreement and confirmation they were going to give us a card with them. We are still waiting for the actual card over a week later.
