Thanks macman - also for your restraint re: what I feel must be your frustration with poster such as self. It is appreciated.

Stage 2 of DSO at Sandy heath is 12 April - so you will need to perform another retune then as well.
Unfortunately, to accommodate changes elsewhere, a number of further channel changes will be undertaken at Sandy Heath after that.
There will be some channel changes on 31 August 2011 (another retune necessary).
Then there will be some channel changes on 14 September 2011 (another retune necessary).
Then there will be some channel changes on 22 November 2011 (another retune necessary).
Then, on a date as yet unspecified in 2012, there will be one final channel change (another retune necessary).Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0 -

p.s. just noticed your signature - I'm with Primus and have had several horror stories with them, usually after being away for long periods, even when they know in advance, and despite automatic Bank drip-feed. I'd better read your linkies.CAP[UK]for FREE EXPERT DEBT &BUDGET HELP:
