I'm apparently excellent at budgeting and not too miserly :D I credited this thread with my results on Martin's FB page ;)
  • Has anyone done the Big Money Test here?

    It's quite interesting :D
wow, that is brilliant, thank you!
I got 6/10 in the knowledge test, I am a miser, primary motivator freedom, weakness keeping track :-)

Just been and had a play - no real surprises for me.

I got 9/10 in the knowledge test (would have been 10 if I'd used a calculator or spreadsheet like I would if doing my shopping, but my mental arithmetic let me down), I'm neither a miser nor a spend-thift, primary motivator security, and my weakness is keeping track.

I don't watch interest rates or inflation - and that's what they were getting at :D

Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers .
Hannah survived the night. the surgery was a success in stopping the internal bleeding .
they are keeping her sedated until next week. her heart rate increases when she recognises someone's voice.
the more I hear of the accident, the more of a miracle it is that she is alive.
she had 1 hand out her car seats belt, and it looks like this is what saved her life as she was thrown through the window and when found, was lying flat which helped to slow the bleeding. their is blood around her brain but they do not think it is in her brain, they will scan her tomorrow to check if their is any brain damage.
Donna will be buried in her unused wedding dress whilst holding her baby , although at 18months old, Noah is more of a toddler than a small baby.
Again thank you for your thoughts, prayers andkind words.

My beautiful friend and son. http://m.stv.tv/news/scotland/west-central/243581-mother-and-18-month-old-son-killed-in-road-crash-named/

    ((((LOLA))))
I've been away for a bit and have just read your news. I'm so very sorry.
All this planting potatoes..... plant the skins from cooking. Nothing eats skins so you make as well plant them and get some more tatoes !

That's interesting, TF. Have you actually done it? Do they have enough energy left to chit, once you've eaten the potato tuber?

xnatalie81, have I seen you on the Tombola trailers that come on just before Emmerdale? Or did I imagine that? (I don't usually watch the programme but I had a guest who does - anyway, I thought I saw someone with your name). If so, that makes 2 frugal TV stars on our forum :D.

Haven't read all the posts yet, am about to do some more catching-up.
