Screen wash

I used to use Asda's screen wash but found after a while the wipers would start to squeek plus it was not very good in the winter as it froze.
Now they have put a temp on the label, -5C no wonder my washers froze when the temp was -15C:D
I have bought a new car so what is a good screen wash additive that won't freeze at -15C?
For the winter of course.

During the warmer months, some water and a drop of washing up liquid does the trick perfectly and saves money.
I'm not sure about what screen wash you should buy though, I generally just buy the cheap Tesco stuff when it's colder. It freezing over doesn't bother me and hasn't bothered the car. We’ve had to remove your signature. Lidl -60 neat. Suitable for VW fanjets. Smells nice. Only available a few times a year though, I get a few bottles when it comes up.0

Are you mad! Have you seen what washing-up liquid does to your paint work? The salt content in the liquid alone, is enough to burn the lacquer off your paint and that's without considering the effects of ammonia and other chemicals such as solvents. The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark0 -

And even with flyboys warning about paintwork above.
Washing up liquid does the wiper blades no good either.0 -

Oh, I missed this one.
Frozen water expands, and can split your windscreen washer bottle and / or fittings.0 -
I use ASDA's concentrated screenwash (usually £3.00 for 5L, I got mine when it was on offer at 2 for £5.00) at the standard 4:1 dilution, with no problems. My wiper blades (Bosch Aerotwins) don't squeak.
OK, it froze during those two cold spells in December, but it was very cold. What do you expect? The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.0 -
I'm using CarPlan concentrate. Dilution = 1:10 in summer and (I think) 1:4 in winter, although I used it almost neat during the extreme cold and it was fine.
In the summer months some people use water but you need detergent to get rid of grime/dirt on the windscreen otherwise it will just smear.0 -
