I want a large hurricane vase on each table, which we will put a large church candle in and surround with acorns and conkers, might try and get some artificial berries too. I then want to make a wreath to go around the vase, made of natural twigs and fur cones and maybe dried out oranges etc. Flower wise I’m hoping to get some lovely artificial ones, deep oranges with more berries and foliage. I want it to look quite rustic/natural.
Snap! We're thinking of hurricane vases with candles and a hearvest wreath round the bottom, although I have been thinking of metal candle lanterns on a mirror tile.0 -
There centerpiece ideas seem really good! Giving me lots of autumn inspiration!0

Woo Hoo! One year today and we will be on a plane on our way to Cuba!! Can't wait. :j
Anyway, have been looking for some flat diamante sandals (not with toe posts coz they annoy me) in a cream or ivory colour. Tried looking about on the internet but not having much luck. Anyone got any ideas?

Happy Anniversary!!! No ideas on the sandals but if I see any I'll let you know, I'm thinking of getting pretty flip flops for the evening as I live in flip flops
Finally booked our appointment for us to go and do our intention to marry, it was a real pain in the bum to find a time when we can both go and not take any time off. Then I realised we have a couple of spare hours the morning before we fly to my parents in a few weeks and the last appointment they had left was 9am perfect :T0 -
I have seen some gorgeous shoes, they fit and everything...........
They are £250!
So hoping to get them eBay. Or win the lottery (which doesn't look hopeful tbh as I don't play!)
I went into Russell and Bromley because I have had shoes from there previously which have fit... sigh.
Am I just dreaming?:T0 -

Loving those shoes Johannalf88!! My shoe budget doesnt stretch to nearly that! While we were on centrepieces, I found a greatidea on a blog, using jam jars, the only thing is Im not sure they'll be big enough for the table?http://blog.groupon.co.uk/2011/10/07/recycled-leafy-lanterns/0

Oh wow love those! I been saving jars for something like that! I wasn't thinking of putting them on the tables as centrepieces, put around the place etc.
Thanks for that!:T0 -
Tried on some dresses! Found some amazing ones, still haven't totally made up my mind on exactly what I want though. More searching to go!0

Ive found the Mirabella Maggie Sottero dress on ebay and while its not exactly the one i wanted (which is the Natasha from the new collection but would cost a fortune) its the same type of dress. Its brand new with tags and just a sample one for people to try on in the shop so may be a little dusty at the bottom.
The original price was $599 which works to about £380 which i think is a bargain for a genuine Maggie Sottero dress even though it is from an old collection.
Ive managed to get her down to $400 which is about £250. Shall i go for it??????0
