We've had some wedding presents already, we've also been told what my parents and OH's are giving us - new front and back doors for the house!

We have had some too. we are asking for experiences for our honeymoon, and we have already been given loads.

Hey ladies, well dress fitting went well, just some minor alterations needed. Had my spray tan trial today as well, seems a bit dark but will see what happens after I wash it off & what it looks like on Saturday. We've already got some presents bought off our gift list and vouchers as well.

I had my final dress fitting. it looks great, n very pleased wih it! The price is a bit lower than expected too. :money:

It's now hangin on the back of our bedroom door, n will be for the next 2 weeks! I told OH no touching or peeking!

Well, ceremony is all sorted, just to sort out everything to do with the hotel tonight. Rather worryingly though, I seem to have developed some sort of rash on my face....

Oh no! I seem to be coming out in spots, but hopefully give it a couple of weeks n it will die down. I am going into moisturising mode all over now- I am terrible usually, I never bother! Making an effort now though!

I've been going through the spotty phase as well - I'm pretty sure this is the spottiest I have ever been! I'm hoping this will calm down, I'll give it the weekend then phone the doctor if its not gone. I'm also moisturising like crazy, I'm the same, I usually don't bother.

Well, I got blackened yesterday! OH's family and my mum and dad all snuck down to our house and pelted us with eggs, tomato sauce and god knows what else - something very smelly though! Then they ran out of stuff so they started throwing sods of grass at us! Needless to say the shower was a bit of a mess when we were finished!

Oh, and my parents have kindly offered to cover part or possibly all of the band fees, so yay!

great to hear how everyone's getting on...getting down to the nitty gritty now aren't we? :j

i have a ton of things to do today/this week including:
- order cake (M&S - got voucher through the post for £10 off £100 spend :money:)
- ring hotel to sort menu, finalise numbers, arrange to pay (and check invoice is correct because I don't think they have taken my deposit off the total)
- check if all accommodation has been booked by guests and chase them up
- finalise order of the day and send to be printed (vistaprint)
- ring florists to sort top table arrangement
- order gifts for FOG, best man, usher, MOB and MOG
- order favour/gift bags for kids at wedding
- buy scratchcard favours for half the guests (the other half are having magnets - "I went to Mr and Mrs Nic Noc Noo's wedding and all I got was this lousy magnet!" - they will be placed in envelopes and put at each place setting randomly so no-one knows what they are getting)
- envelopes (just realise I need to source these to put said scratchcards and magnets in!)
- make sweet buffet labels and tie ribbon onto the scoops
- complete place cards
- build up wedding post box
- start on seating plan
- final dress fitting on Friday morn :j
- meet videographer on Sat aft to discuss final details, songs and pay
- meet chair cover lady on Sun morn to finalise colours and numbers and pay
- break in wedding shoes (i have got some protective overshoes from work so I don't spill anything on them!!)
- ring registrars to finalise vows, songs for ceremony and pay

blimey, didn't think there was that much left :eek: best get cracking!!!

oh and I too am starting to "spot out" on my face :mad:

need to start with the SERIOUS moisturising now - i get psorasis (mainly on elbows and knees) but my hands are awfully dry - similar to sandpaper on times according to OH :eek: so going to rummage through my bathroom cabinet and see what intense stuff i have and get it slapped on. think i'm going to start applying some Dove summer glow too - don't fancy a spray tan but need a bit of colour!
