it kicked his but in gear! :rotfl: he has been doing weddingy stuff all weekend- sorting the music. However, it's been lovely and sunny and we have been inside! Why he couldn't have done it on one of the MANY rainy weekends I have no idea! :rotfl:

4 day working week this week, because my Hen starts on Friday! Whoop!

Telling OH how many days left gave him the kick up the butt he needed as well He finally went to buy suits for him and the BM (his DS) And he managed to get them under budget :money:

We also went and ordered our wedding rings through OH's friend who owns a jewellery he has very kindly said they are their wedding present to us. Very shocked at the weekend such a generous gift, this has reminded me that I haven't organised any thank you cards. Has anyone else ordered any yet?

BM tried on her dress at the weekend and it needs altering down a full dress size so now I need to find somewhere to this.

I haven't made any of the things that I need to make yet it was too hot at the weekend to sit inside and we are going away this weekend so not sure when I'm doing this! I did manage to finish the kids activity books though just got to print them

Well, I went into town for the wedding dress for the hen do, but the cheapest I found was £75 because they're now vintage. So I got a white tutu instead

Had my hair trial yesterday and everything went perfectly, decided on a half up do for me and my BMs are having their hair all up. And my BM's tried on their dresses which fit perfectly except for one strap which needs to be pulled in, so yay!!

Wahoo! Hot tub people contacted my sister, they can't pick up the hot tub on Monday, or Tuesday either... So it's now staying till Wednesday for no extra charge! meaning my mum & dad, & OH can use it too! Yay!

so i'm starting to do the whole countdown thing now - 8 weeks tomorrow, 57 sleeps...not got to the minutes and seconds yet tho! lol

got all RSVPs back now, just need to make sure everyone has booked their accommodation. just on with all the bitty bits now, table place cards, table plan, favours, etc.

off for my first dress fitting today - SOOOOOOOOO excited - don't think giddy covers it really. it's my birthday today too, so what a lovely present to myself

Its 6 weeks tomorrow!

Everything is going well so far

RSVP's have started to come in (although some guests forgetting to actually answer wether or not they are coming!)

Flowers sorted yesterday - final details all covered
Flowergirl & pageboy sorted last weekend
Favours almost sorted - all ordered, have tags to do still just

Still do do:
Order of service - choosing hymns and readings and arrancge for it to be printed (This weekends job)
Evening Invitations
Cake topper ordered

Can't quite believe how close it is getting!

Only thing stressing me out is my OH - we live 100milesapart and only see each other at weekends, but he wants us to do all the wedding stuff together - and we just don't have the time to do it!
And when we are together he doesn't want to do the wedding stuff, it was his idea that we were making the invitations, and he never wanted to make them when we were together, and never made them when we weren't together either, so they were left for me, and then he moans becasue i made them alone - but we were out of time - he thinks people know they are invited anyway so when the invitation goes out doesn't matter (seriously???)

I posted the last batch of invitations last night - and he says i should haveted and done it today with him - the rest were sent last Thursday, but we had to wait for the stamps for this set, and as the wedding is now so close, they needed posted. If he had have made them when he said he would, and got me the addresses, then we could have it together last weekend!

He jsut tells me he is too busy to do anything - but I am far busier, he gets home from work before 5, i don't get home to after half 6 normally, I have 2 exercises classes a week, dress fittings etc - generally only in the hosue one night a week, but i still came home and made invitatons, fiilled in names and addresses atc, even it was 11pm at night! He says by the time he has a wah and makes his dinner he doesn;t have time to do anything (but seems to have plently of time for the internet and the playstation!) tells me he is busy becaus ehe goes out for dinner with his family once a week.

Rant over - think i should have used the Bridezilla thread!

I had my hen do on Saturday, such a laugh, we did burlesque dancing then had a meal and a few drinks. My bridesmaid di such a great job!
