Thanks Lazer, you'll have a great time. I wasn't really looking forward to it as I've always got this voice in the back of my head telling me that people will never turn up to parties, etc that I organise or are organised for me. So it turned out to be a really good evening ... except when H2B turned up at the end of the night and decided to stick around!

Sorry been ignoring this thread- BH weekend was my Hen do and OH stag do! We both had soo much fun! :D
The hot tub went down a real treat- would definitely recommend it! Only thing was we (me and OH) had agreed not to contact each other, and the guys had it on a list of things not to do (including not mentioning my name, not correcting people - which was impossible for him!) Come Sunday morning we had both emailed... I really missed him! It is pathetic really- we laughed about it when we were back, it was supposed to be 'last independent hurrah etc' and we didn't like it! Lol. Independence not all its cracked up to be! :rotfl:

Yay, glad your hen do was a success Jo! I'd be the same texting OH, I doubt he'll reply though, he'll be far too drunk, lol.

Only 5 and a bit weeks to go! Exited!

He only got really drunk Saturday night- but him getting really drunk is very rare! We just had constant alcohol, so didn't feel drunk, but there were loads of empty bottles! :o

We (I!) also crossed a load of things off our list, almost finished August to do list now! :)

  • I feel a bit out of it reading all about your hen do's :( Had to have mine waaay back in July so everyone I wanted there could attend - also fell poorly with a dodgy tum halfway through the night and ended up being the most sober one there! considering having a brief night out with work folks to cheer me up...and i get to wear my sash and veil thingy again!! lol

    Oh well done DM! :)

Well had my dress fitting last night- the dress is now too BIG! :rotfl: Yay! So it needs to be taken in... Which costs more money, but it's a brill confidence booster! :D Other thing is it may not need to be taken up as it sits higher up now... But I don't want to trip up! It is just touching the floor, so it wouldn't be much (about 1cm) so trying to decide if it is worth it. But next fitting in 2 weeks! :)
