Where you going on honeymoon Jo? We're sending out all day invites this week, was supposed to be last week, oops.

DM, talk about organised! I havent even thought about Xmas! Saving stuff like that until after the wedding then blitz it in November I think.

The sand ceremony is like a union ceremony, like a knot tying or unity candle ceremony, I've only seen it done at one wedding and that was in Oz. The registrar (in our case) says some extra vows while pouring some coloured sand into a glass container (a bottle in our case), then I pour in some different coloured sand, OH has another colour and we then pour it in together so we end up with a bottle full of layars of sand to symbolise the merging of two individuals.

Thanks guys, we weren't too sure we would be allowed it because our registrar hadn't heard of it but she said that as long as its not religious we can do it :) And it gives us something else to keep.

We're going to Marrakech, cant wait! This will be our 2nd holiday abroad together.

We've been on a few weekends away, and our other "big" holiday was a couple of years ago in York. I wanted to go away somewhere but it was just after the Iceland volcano eruption so OH didnt want to risk it.

Can't wait to go away and see the sun!

Hi everyone - it's been ages since I checked on here, happy to see you're all progressing well. Sorry to hear about your dress cupcake, seems like you might have sorted it out now, hope it works out :)

Hope you get your honeymoon sorted too jo! Maldives - so jealous! We're going to Mexico.

Have started receiving lots of RSVPs, have got 43 out of 78 back. Not too bad :)

Sorted out little bridesmaid dress last week, she looks super cute!

    Hi ya,

How is everyone doing at the moment? I'm finding it hard to work out if we're going to have a real last minute rush or if we'll somehow stay on track. September and October weekends are so full up already!

Things on my list at the moment are chasing RSVPs as people are now technically over the date we gave them (fab idea to put one on from my MIL2B), cake topper, finding the rest of the pics of married couples on their wedding days (this is slow progress), sorting pew ends, waiting for our rings to arrive, deciding what we're going to do about table numbers and possibly starting to put all our favours together.

It basically just feels like so many little but quite time consuming jobs :-)

what is everybody else sorting? I'm convinced we must be missing things!!
