Got the last of the day invites written out yesterday, so the main job this week is to get them out. Ordering evening invites this week as well, so I can get them written out and posted asap.

I met with the hotel wedding planner on Friday night, OH was working so I took my mum. Managed to get everything that I wanted sorted out, we've chosen the meal as well, so just waiting on the planner to email a summary to us and we can make a payment.

Oh, and need to chase up my last RSVP from the first lot of invites, my dad's brother hasn't sent it back yet, and it affects our numbers by 8 people.

This weekend

Went to see some cars on Friday night - like them, but not sure, as the 2 cars aren't matching, one vintage and one modern. So going to see more at the weekend.

Went to see the priest to to give in papers.

Give the cakes a final feeding before sealing them up until it is time to ice

Made more invitations - 34 down, 66 to go! (Still 2 weeks to they go out!)

Just gone over my guest list - we're now inviting 91 adults and 12 kids!! Had 4 no's so that takes it down to 87 adults and 12 kids. Am really kinda p***ed off at my uncle now - sorry to keep banging on about him, but the RSVP date was a week ago and there's still no reply. I feel like phoning and just telling him that since he didnt have the decency to reply then I'll be taking that as a no for his whole family.... is that a bit harsh? It would take my numbers back down to 79 adults!

Just thought maybe I should have posted that on the Bridezilla thread.....

had a wonderful photo shoot yesterday with the new photographer it was a beautiful day and went really well

took my dress off to the dressmaker this morning so i got to wander around in it for an hour which was lovely

the dress i got for MIL doesnt fit so we are off looking for another one soon

We didn't do the invites in the end- couldn't be bothered! :rotfl:
OH contacted the caterers- and they have hugely reduced their list of sandwich filling- I am really disappointed, as all the tasty fancy ones have gone. Even my salmon.
But hey, no1 else will remember what was in the sandwiches.

Its funny how people say its the little things that make a wedding, but in reality, as a guest, I never remember the little things that the B&G have done. I'm trying to pick the music for our ceremony, and wondering what will go together, create the right feel, etc. And I actually cannot remember any music at any of the ceremonies I've been to!
