want to get rid of broadband but stuck in contract and the price has just increased!!

im with bt option 1 and had a letter through last week to say they are increasing their prices by £3 a month, thats the second price rise in 4 months thanks to vat increase.

i want to cancel it as its too expensive now and i never use it as im out on the road a lot so use mobile broadband instead

i had a contract with bt for broadband for 3 years, and then wanted to move providers so they offered me a discount of £3 a month so i accepted and stayed with them but they did it as a new contract rather than just adjusting the old one. now im stuck in a contract till oct is there anyway i can get out of it?!!

thank u!!!
