Jenni, I am wondering if I misheard as the line was really bad, but I asked him to clarify it was Cancer Research and he said yes--it's also possible that he misunderstood me as well! Although my partner says he wouldn't put it past them to let me believe it was Cancer Research.
Spike7451, interesting you mentioned that, but I did a credit check with Equifax out of curiosity back in mid January. I hope the two are not related.
