I'm hoping this is good as I had mine delivered yesterday for OH's birthday next month. I missed out on the £10 off voucher though. :(

It is good, if you have a decent TV it should be fine.
The HDMI upscaling for DVD is good too :D

great deal. player is under £50 so code will not work but add tescos cheapest hdmi lead for £4.99 pushes price over £50 so £10 code works and get it delivered to your nearest store as FREE delivery.just ordered one for the bedroom cheers:

That's great news skyelouise :) I could not get it delivered to nearest store for free as they selected one too far away and not my local. I did manage to get the £10 off after the £5 delivery charge was added though, so perhaps that will help some people. Your suggestion of the HDMI lead is excellent because it doesn't come with one so for those who can get to the store they will despatch to that's an ideal choice

    I bought this - bl00dy thing doesn't work

I'm not best pleased as not only have I got to drive across town to take it back but we also rented some films to watch so I have lost the advantage of the £10 off.

It also remains to be seen as to whether they can replace it, as it looks like an end of line to me. If they can't then I shall be completely out of pocket on the rentals.

    :(
I hope they replace it or refund. It seems they have a lot of stock. I got mine sent direct. They should come to you with a replacement I would have thought. You might convince the place you rented from that you have had this problem too perhaps and get an extension or repeat rental?
