    Morning!

Also loved the Royal Wedding - didn't get to watch all of it as I was at work and the customers were whining about me watching it, miserable sods!

A couple of in's - an Accessorise set from Superdrug for £2.49 (think it was elling for £9.99 before Christmas) with a cute eyeshadow pallette, lipgloss and false lashes and a Pink Grapefruit set from BS. Did buy my Daddy a birthday present too so TECHNICALLY the set only cost me £1!!

    Happy belated birthday Kaz!

Love your new eyeshadow palette Sawan!

    Happy belated birthday Kaz!

One OUT and three INs for me:

OUT in the shower yesterday - S&G Flake Away. WNBA as I felt it was too greasy and it clogged up the shower something rotten. The one redeeming feature was the smell but all pink S&G products have that scent and they have loads of scrubs so it's not like I can never replicate it.

    INs:
Boots Conditioning Nail Polish Remover - I'm running short of nail polish remover so this is to replace the one I have when it runs out. Not tried it before but the acetone free one is pretty good, and my nails are so knackered I think they need a bit of pampering!
Mitchum Advanced Control 48 Hour Strength & Protection Antiperspirant and Deodorant x 2 (Waterlily and Shower Fresh scents) - these were 2 for £3.50 and I hadn't seen them anywhere else so figured I'd snap them up. Already impressed by size - 100ml compared to normal deodorant bottles which tend to be 50ml, so hopefully should last for ages.

    Sooo tempted! Must resist!

There is also a deal right at the bottom of that email that if you take a printout of the email to the Benefit counter and get a skin consultation they will give you a sample kit of their new skincare range. I really want to try that as well...

Sarah - Glad you liked the Dr Who thingy. Was it really scary? I don't do well with walk throughs!!! My best friend is a huge fan and we are planning a trip to London in July and this would be a real treat but don't want to get tickets for both of us if I might freak!!

It was more funny than scary - there was one bit with the Weeping Angels that was spooky but as we were at the front of the crowd - and therefore the first to go into any new corridors - it's was more scary than if we'd been at the back :p So my advise would be to stay in the middle of the pack - but it is suitable for little ones so it wouldn't be too scary anyway :D

TBH - as a fan but not a fanatic I think £20 a ticket is too much - but my OH (who's a DW nut) thought it would be good value for that price.

I forgot to list my UU's yesterday being so tired:

Ted Baker Body Spray (mini): WIBA? No - didn't like the smell :(
Boot Expert Sensitive Conditioner: WIBA? Still have one in stash - along with a couple of others - but I do like it so yes - when I need more :p

    and now the IN's: :o

    S&G Clean Mary (1 x 180ml/1 x 75ml)
    S&G Righteous Butter (mini)
S&G Girligo (smaller bottle): I may swap this for the BB in my travel stash as it's to be used after a shower and I only ever get to use a shower on holiday
    S&G Hand Food (125ml)

All from eBay - the 75ml Clean Mary was one purchase (won for about £1.50) and the other bits were in a set that came with a fabric covered vanity-type box and a bath lily/puff thing and cost me just over a fiver :T

I was very good yesterday though - we walked past BS in Kensington and the SA was outside handing out 50%off vouchers so we popped in .... and then out as I said there was nothing I needed so wasn't going to buy anything :T (although if I'm completely honest I would have bought a Wild Cherry Lipbutter if they had one ;))

We've had a fab day - and the bits of London we were in was completely deserted - I've never seen a tube train so empty :D

The Doctor Who Experience was really good - for £5 each - we would have been a bit :( if we'd paid £20 each. OH got very excited when he got to fly the tardis and I got genuinely scared at the Stone Angel-thingys :o

The adventure part was really good and we got loads of pictures of OH with K9, Daleks, the TARDIS etc - and I bought him an 11th Doctor version of the Sonic Screwdriver (to go with his 10th Doctors version :rotfl:)

.....and as an added bonus the dogs hadn't destroyed the house when we got home :rotfl:

The only thing that puts me off these type of exhibits is the price as I find waxworks (assuming all the Doctors were waxworks) boring. The interactive part of flying the TARDIS sounds fun though. MrM would enjoy this I bet and Emma likes the new series now. Unfortunately MrM would then get angry once he saw the Christopher Eccleston incarnation of the Doc - he's still not forgiven him for leaving after the first series.

that'll be me as well then :D:p;) am i forgiven??????

quite a few are still over there drowning their sorrows i'm afraid

I missed you celebrate. I remember you were the mad woman who ordered loads from Lloyds Pharmacy. How much did you spend/save on toiletries from Tesco then? Come on, come clean!

This is the last day of April then ladies. Don't think I've had that bad a month because I've only bought things I really need and that needed to be replaced IYKWIM. I do though already have a planned purchase for May - there's an OPI TSV coming up on Thursday and I'm very excited about it. I do NEED the Nail Envy and Avoplex from it but don't strictly need the three lacquers or the silver shatter that's in there but they all look so good. Depends on the price and how good the "value" is really though.

Not very happy with the Philosophy Pure Grace liquid wash that I opened. It must be too highly fragranced as it's making my skin itch. Will have to use it as a body wash and used exfoliating gloves to apply it with.

Have painted my nails today - used one of my faves Leighton Denny Supermodel.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

  • Belated Happy Birthday Kaz!

I have just gone through my stash and chucked out 28 things that are either off, don't suit my skin colour (why do I even have these things in the first place?) or things that I know I will never use as I just don't like them.

I have an in to confess to but it was a freebie! - Got the email from Debenhams about the free Benefit skincare sample pack so picked one up today.

See you all on the May thread, xx

There was only one waxwork Doctor - the current Matt Smith. All the others costumes were displayed though and there were the actual models/costumes from all the scary creatures :p

I agree with you about waxworks - they never look quite right :D
