Thanks for the birthday wishes guys. I've had some lovely retro presents so far :) A nice chalkboard, a book of quotes and a keep calm and carry on mug. Happy days :D Just watching the wedding now.

Happy Birthday Kaz !! how lovely is the wedding - I hadnt planned on watching it,but so glad I am.... and how totally beautiful is Kate - though she has nicked the style of dress that I have wanted since I was tiny - she carries it off WAY better than I will !!!!

It's a very elegant dress. She looks beautiful. Just seen the parents arriving in a coach. Like the way the commoners have to go backwards :D
I thought that they said Kate couldn't go in the carriage before the wedding because she was a commoner so why are her parents allowed in one?

    Happy Birthday Kaz :bdaycake:

Watched a little of the wedding - just to see the dress. I can't believe how tiny Kate looks in her dress!!

Used the L'Oreal eye make up remover for the first time last night. Took it all off really easily and didn't nip my sensitive eyes so a big :staradmin. Don't know if I am completely converted from my cliniqiue Take the Day off just yet ....

Got a night out tonight so I have looked out my new summery dress and my Pretty Polly leg shimmer thingy to use. Didn't bother with fake tan last night as I was too tired so I need to move to plan b.

I have PMTN Nails Inc Manchester - a lovely red and PMON in Nails Inc Charlotte St - a light shimmery grey.

Oh and a bit late now but I know that M & S were not going to open until 1pm so staff could watch the wedding.

Can't sleep so checking in from my phone.

Question about Royal Wedding tomorrow- I've noticed lots of people on MSE say they have to work tomorrow. Is it like a Sunday with all shops and restaurants open? For some reason I was under the impression everything would be closed like Christmas Day.

Back on topic, I have a rather nice in. It was a freebie. Benefit skincare sample set from the Debenhams beauty club email and a card with 4 Estee lauder lipstick samples. I was shocked (but in a good way) when I saw the size of the Benefit box, it's huge compared with the usual sample sizes. The SA did make me have a quick consultation. Surprised nobody here has mentioned this offer.

I too got the Benefit box and as there was no SA just got it off the one at the next counter (did not get the EL thing tho)Alos in Debs got the gwp from Clinique(bag/face scrub/moisturiser/lipstick..plus a lip gloss thrown in )A rather rude woman interupted as SA was trying a foundation on me(new moisture surge one) and asked if there were no other assistants then could mine get her foundation for her:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:...had to laugh tho as she paid £21 for it and had she been nicer sa would have pointed out that by spending another £4 she could have got the gwp!Paid using beauty card which debs had added a reward of £5 to so cost £21 insted of £36 with the points on the card:)
then went to boots to get free lippy from Clinique, they had no lippy so gave me a gloss which I prefered and I didn't have to book a consultation as told her I had had one last month.
then into JL for a free Liz Earle polish /face cloth:)

    good day all round

Watched most of the Wedding and agree gorgeous dress.

Another UU for me this am: Elemis Frangipani shower cream. Have three more of these in stash. It's lovely and creamy but not sure I would buy it individually.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

People had booked phone calls from me this morning so I missed a fair chunk of the wedding as talking requires all my concentration if I'm to do my job properly.
Just heard an explanation of the trees in the Abbey- that they were put there instead of imported cut flowers which would have been put there following past form. 10/10 for that.
Gorgeous dress, no rain too, how lovely. I'm no royalist but we need things to make us smile.
