    Happy Birthday Kaz :)
  • Happy Birthday Kaz!!

I really enjoyed the wedding earlier on - it was a welcome break from revision!

I have a couple of UU to report:
some generic soap (I am always happy to finish soap as I have like 100 of them)
a Charlie body spray which I have had for ages so once again I was pleased.

On another note, I am currently using a l'occitane body lotion and a crack has appeared in the bottom of the bottle - it's no problem really but I am surprised that this happened with a brand that is seen to be quite good!

    xx

sarah - hope you enjoy your doctor who day, must tell us about it when you get back.

We've had a fab day - and the bits of London we were in was completely deserted - I've never seen a tube train so empty :D

The Doctor Who Experience was really good - for £5 each - we would have been a bit :( if we'd paid £20 each. OH got very excited when he got to fly the tardis and I got genuinely scared at the Stone Angel-thingys :o

The adventure part was really good and we got loads of pictures of OH with K9, Daleks, the TARDIS etc - and I bought him an 11th Doctor version of the Sonic Screwdriver (to go with his 10th Doctors version :rotfl:)

.....and as an added bonus the dogs hadn't destroyed the house when we got home :rotfl:

I use this too, the price is crazy. Have you tried the toothpaste, OMG it is like cleaning your teeth with salty paste, you get used to it but one tube was enough for me, first thing in the morning was the worst.

No, I haven't. For buying this and the Sensodyne Pronamel I wait until they are on special offer and bulk buy them. It saves a fortune in the longterm. I'm down to my second last bottle, so I need to take a look around to find a good special offer.

Are we going to welcome back the deserters? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I mean I once tried to read that thread  Blimey, I never went back!! Moves infinitely faster than this one, and this one's pretty fast!!

that'll be me as well then :D:p;) am i forgiven??????

quite a few are still over there drowning their sorrows i'm afraid

worried about tara we haven't heard from her for a while and not sure she even knows DTD is over, i know she said she was going away last weekend

i have joined the post DTD support group (called the DTD cottage thread on food and groceries) but now without 100 pages of thread a day/spreadsheets/prices comparisons/ shopping i actually have time to do normal stuff.......like say hello to you guys, talking to my kids and actually using all the cleaning products i've accumulated! Although I actually think i've forgotten what a normal life was! DTD was totally all consuming plus 3 kids and a FT job!

I'm afraid i have enough olay creams, shampoo and shower gel to last about a couple of years......you won't be getting rid of me yet..

hope you all enjoyed the royal wedding

happy birthday Kaz, hope you've not had more blocked drains or blown up microwaves since i was last here!

    Ps how's trudi's horse?

Sorry I've been AWOL for a while - not on the Tesco DTD board! - but the kids have had so much time off this month (at school for just 6 days during May with 2 weeks break then bank holidays) that I just havent been online as much as usual.

Will rejoin you ladies in May :D

I have another splutterer but it won't be finished in time to be counted in my April UU's. Boots Night Sorbet for combination skin. I think there is a few days or should I say nights left in it. I only have a back up tub in my stash - no other night creams to UU and even then I only bought it last month.

As this is the last day of April I did some adding up and I have UU 15 items and spent £17.47 this month. Really pleased with that total as I had set myself a £15 a month budget with an extra £30 splurge fund to which £11.99 Nails Inc trio purchaced this month falls into. So only a £5.48 spend out of my £15 a month budget. I feel positively :A.

    Fingers crossed for next month.

Sarah - Glad you liked the Dr Who thingy. Was it really scary? I don't do well with walk throughs!!! My best friend is a huge fan and we are planning a trip to London in July and this would be a real treat but don't want to get tickets for both of us if I might freak!!

    Morning!

Loved the Royal Wedding, didn't watch it all but she did look lovely, the dress was very beautiful.

A little uu, Superdrug Natural High Night Cream, wiba, no, it is really nice to use but clogged up my pores so it was used as foot cream the same as the day cream was. If it suits you it is a nice product and is very cheap.
