Wondering if small orders annoy Avon ladies  I put in another order for €14, is that really small compared with what other people order? The jewellery and underwear are quite expensive so if people were ordering those they would be spending much more than me.

I was thinking last night when she called "petrol is really expensive, this Avon stuff is really cheap, plus it must take ages to sort it all out, how can she make money?"

Edited to add: Is there an Avon thread around here? Could somebody direct me there? Thanks

Don't worry about it, I had a customer who ordered regularly but NEVER more than £5... it was a lowered amount but every penny counts - plus sorting takes ages however much people spend - plus most Avon rounds are close together so the petrol isn't just for you, I could walk to all mine!

The ONLY thing that really bugged me was the same people not being in, not having the money, not answering the door etc etc - it can happen to everyone occasionally but there were a couple of houses that it was EVERY order, drove me mad! :o

Anyway back to toiletries, been following you all but not joining in (too much DTD :D) Due to comments on here I have found Lush Bubble Bars and they are AWESOME so thanks to those that recommended them! Plus a glass nail file, also AWESOME, made soooo much difference to my nails, thanks again! :j

Oooh, you've just reminded me. We went into Lush last weekend in Bath. The were doing that gold glittery bath thingy. DD wanted it and a woman put her hands in the water and then patted her DH on the face. He was covered in gold sparklies!
She asked the fella in there what happens to all the glitter and he said "well, it goes everywhere! It doesn't dissolve." Funnily enough, her DH dragged her away too!
It's the first Lush shop I've ever been able to stand to go into. The one on Broadmead in Bristol makes me want to vomit because it's so small and claustrophobicly smelly :(

Woo a UU for me already today - Boots Time Delay Hand & Nail Cream 50ml. :j

I'm so pleased this has finally gone! I must have got it 5+ years ago with a free £5 Boots voucher (was only thing in shop I could get) and never liked it so it got shoved in drawer. When I moved here (18mths ago) I re-found it and put on bedside table to use up but it must have fallen down the back a few times so never really got used. But it's all gone now :rotfl:

    WIBA? No!

Another splutter, Santcuary pre tan lotion WBIA really nice smell and leaves my skin nice and soft. Bought it a few years ago and got it in a 90% off sale so only paid tuppence for it. I still ahve some left in the stash! ;)

Oh I missed this post when I read through last time but am wondering whether this acts as a tan accelerator or is similar to Johnson's Holiday Sun. I used the Elemis Tan Accelerator before I went away to Tenerife a couple of years ago and it was fab. I'd got it in a TSV though and have been loathe ever since to pay full price for it. Would be interested if there was a similar lower priced product out there. I did try Zshush (sp?) once before but this dried my skin terribly.

Yes VALM, I think we both ordered the same one! I never used LG blushers prevously, so was quite taken with ethereal rose! I'm sure when I'm trying to use up my second one it will be a different story.
TBH I don't use the banish and brighten much - I tend to forget I have it:o I may do the same and list it on FB. Must also get around to putting some other make-up on there. It may have to wait till the weekend as I'm on nights untill sat morning.

I got my first LG blusher in the US (from Sephora who don't stock her range anymore boo hoo) in Sunswept and since have bought the Apricot Berry one which came in a TSV and have two of the Ethereal Rose combo ones. Some people find them too pigmented but I never feel overdone when I wear them - same goes for all the makeup I own from her range.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

TBH it was more like Johnson's Holiday Skin, although didn't have the usual fake tan smell. :)

Thanks. I think I've tried a couple of these type products but still haven't found one that moisturises at the same time!

Another UU here, Alpha H Triple Action Cleanser. I like Alpha H stuff but I think I'll get the exfoliating cleanser next time so nothing to buy until my Wilko exfoliator splutterer is finished.

The Dove one is pretty good. I used it this morning at around 7am and has only developed an ever so slight fake tan smell, my skin feels moisturised too and been in and out the house and garden all morning
