No Buying Toiletries in April Challenge

With all the best will in the word, most of us have wobbly bits. It's just that I don't choose to show mine to the entire world
. I find it very difficult to buy tops which are long enough for my long body though
so I tend to prefer dresses. Unfortunately, these are no good for cycling or some other bits and pieces so I do have to have some trousers and tops combos. I get issues with tops riding up and showing off my wobbly bits so I have to keep yanking them down!
Me too, and I'm very self conscious about my legs due to disability, so no dresses for me. It was a nightmare when short tops were in and you couldn't buy long ones.
I'm off to St Ives in the morning with a friend, can't wait but have one small cloud of anxiety. The last break I had my son was due to take me and my friend to the coach. He let me down, - stayed at a friend's and didn't come home -so I'm a bit worried as I may not get a taxi at a few minutes notice on a Good Friday. (You may remember I said he was 27 going on 15.)
After I had to rescue him when he missed his flight last week, he has been a bit more considerate, though. Let's see how long it lasts - hopefully until late Monday as I want the house in one piece to come back to.
Busy choosing what toiletries to take. Haven't packed any clothes yet!

I wonder if someone clever can tell me who I PM with my facebook link?
You can PM either me or xoxo - do join us

Tell if he's not there next time you'll leave him stranded and he can walk home
I hope he comes through for you and you have a great break
Well Origins was one big FAIL  I'm over my stressing about getting the SA sacked/reprimanded now
and they are blaming Martin Lewis/MSE/Lorraine Kelly for having no stock left because he mentioned it on the telly this morning.
However - as I pointed out to them on their FB page (and by email
) they told over 7000 people themselves and as each store apparently only received 40 bottles they didn't even cover their own advertising
One UU today: ironically my Boots Vitamin E Cleanser ran out this morning
: WIBA? I have my HG S&G Clean Mary to use first but when that has all gone yes I probably will. Was lovely and didn't smell chemically at all :T
One IN: A Swapsie S&G Clean Mary :T:T and no naughty step :T:T0 -
Forgot my UU - the Inecto Coconut Oil Hand Cream (being used as foot cream). The tube split at splutter stage and the remaining contents lasted three weeks!
WIBA? Yes, it's a Savers stalwart and I'd use it as foot cream, it was great. The hand cream that I do actually use as hand cream (all others seem to end up on my feet) is Neutrogena Norwegian Formula. That stuff is brilliant.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." An IN today- S&G Scrub Your Nose In It from Swap Club. Thanks to XOXO:T0

I like the Anew eye thing - which is the main reason I got it - and the rest are good travel sizes - but I don't think I'll be getting the full size either.
I like the eye cream pot with the 2 sections. I was thinking that if it was empty it could be refilled with day/night cream as a travel pot. I usually keep and refill nice travel pots like the Soap+Glory ones.
My hair is lovely today after using the Avon products on it last night. I think it was the lotus serum in the orange bottle that was really good.Well Origins was one big FAIL  I'm over my stressing about getting the SA sacked/reprimanded now

40 bottles:eek: They needed about 400 per store. They are going to be in so much trouble over this . Everyone's going to hate me now when I say I got one. There were only 3 left and this was in a Debenhams in Ireland. I had to book a mini-facial to get it but I plan on cancelling it.
I expect the offer was intended for existing customers but then sites like this and blogs get hold of it and suddenly 1000's of people want the high value freebie.Total debt 11/1/2011 €5350.65Total debt 12/12/12 €3222.31CrazyClothesChallenge 2013 #006 €34.08/€5000 -
You need to PM your facebook link to sarah*a or xoxo from your profile page. They will then add you as a friend and sign you up to the swap shop

Ooh - thats a good idea :T I think I need to start a thread titled "I will not keep ALL the pretty/maybe-useful-one-day empty toiletry containers" :rotfl::rotfl:
Well done you for managing to get one :T:T Is it too mean of me to hope it's awful
:rotfl:
Apparently they are on eBay already :eek:0 -
Evening all
No UU's yet this week but should have one tonight (hand cream). I also cut open a spluttering facial scrub too today.
As it's a BH weekend I think I'll up the pampering to use up some of my stash
