I know :rotfl: I was gutted! It was all wrapped in pretty tissue paper and before I opened it I thought "I bet this is going to be flake away" and it was! Depressing :p

Remind me what flake away is?
I don't get the whole S&G hype. The products are nice enough (some of them) but I don't like the smell and that hair conditioner is like washing your hair in custard :(

flake away is a scrub that appears to be 99.9% cooking oil :rotfl: I loveee the smell of S&G! And their blueberry body butter is amazing :j

I agree about the conditioner :rotfl:

The woman that works in there said to me "You're always buying NV, do you own a nail bar or something?"

    :rotfl:

    Oh dear!

Maybe you should open a nail salon :p
It would be an excellent excuse to buy lots of different colours :D

I think flake away smells tasty but I'm kinda dreading using it after the complaints on here. Can't remember if I prodded it but I might give away / try to sell if I haven't.

    Maybe I should :money:

I'm rubbish at painting nails though :rotfl: I spend half the week cleaning my hands up after I do them.

Kaz I am in awe of your capsule wardrobe pics...I think that is a challange too far for me.....

Warning - Graphic Icky Story - Don't read before dinner

    Tonsilitis sucks :(.

Used to get it all the time when I was growing up. Last April I finally had them whipped out. For the previous three years I was back and forth from the docs with antibiotics, blood tests etc. Nothing could shift the problem - no pain just greenish balls of puss being stored in my tonsil cavity that smelled like decay. I got so hacked off I requested to see an ENT at the hospital who diagnosed tonsil stones (chronic crypt tonsillitis). As I had never had an op I was more than a bit worried but the pain and 2 weeks of social isolation was more than worth it.

Anyway - hope you are feeling better soon.

Oooh lovely dress Kaz - hopefully it may turn up at a car boot sale near me in the next few years :rotfl:since that it where I get most of my clothes! Have a great Essex chav one near me, loads of good clothes mainly M&S/Per Una and Next, but have also picked up New Look, Jane Norman, Elle, Monsoon etc etc. I give it a good hot wash of course...and only buy off stall holders who look clean LOL!! I narrow the search down by looking for stall holders who are about my size too. And I'm trying to operate a one in one out policy.
Every now and then I have a week where I pull out clothes I have bought and never worn. I have to wear them once and then decide if they stay or go!

Most of the clothes are 50p or a pound at most. It's great fun too, you just never know what you are going to find over there and it's the reason I'm still well within my £100 clothes budget for this year!

Oooh Julie!! Which boot sale is this?? (I too live in Essex and would love cheap clothes) :j:A
Do you have to turn up ridiculously early to get anything decent?

I must have picked up this by osmosis.... haven't been on for a week or so, but for some reason has a clothes clearout over the weekend. Managed to get two bin bags of stuff sorted for the charity shop.

I've also taken a very tough line on the knicker drawer - anything going a bit tatty (including my lucky pulling pants) have been discarded, and several bras have gone to the overseas appeal. I feel liberated, and might even be able to put away all my laundry this week....
blimey that's exactly what i did this weekend, two big bags to rubbish and two bags for charity.
