Both processors are 32 bit based, but this is not as big a limitation as you might think, as there are relatively few programs available for 64 bit processors, and those that are, are specialised.
The most important question when buying a PC or Laptop is to ask yourself what you want to do with the computer. Then, find out which models will do that. There is no point in buying a higher spec PC than you need - you are paying for things you dont need, and only affect "bragging rights".
Its surprising how many people think they need the latest high speed processor with 1GB of RAM just to write some letters, send emails and surf the web.0
