Quidco and Mobiles.co.uk
Hi All,
I'm thinking about going for the Incredible S though mobiles.co.uk with the £50 Quidco cashback.
Its a 24 month contract, but at £25 a month with 300 mins, unlimited texts and 500mb data its by far the cheapest I have seen out there.
I'm not bothered about redemption cash back but just wondered if anyone knew how reliable the Quidco cashback is with this retailer?

Check TCB instead.
EDIT: I see, TCB offer less.

But TCB have a cashback match guarantee and I'd use them rather than Quidco any day of the week.0

I've seen this cashback guarantee before, but one thing confuses me about this.
I can see how, say, Tesco can offer a price match with ASDA, but since both Topcashback and Quidco claim to pass 100% of the cashback they get from merchants back to us, they must be funding this price match themselves.
Why they can't get the same deal as Quidco must p*** them off a bit!0 -
TCB also offer an extra percentage on the normal cashback determined by how much you earn the previous month. Remember, they make their income from advertisers (though without blasting it in your face) so have a different structure. They never claimed to be a "co-operative" and usually have higher cashback than Quidco. I have started using the guarantee - although my latest attempts have not been addressed within the timeframe they claim. Basically, I don't care; if Quidco is the only real alternative then there IS no alternative as far as I'm concerned. I would rather earn less from a more honest cashback site than put up with the treament dished out by Quidco. I will point out that is actually most unlike me - I am a pragmatist. However, having lost a lot of money via Quidco and spent months being fobbed off with platitudes and false promises I no longer believe they are genuine or give a damn about me as a customer.
In fact, my first use of Topcashback was because of my pragmatism; put simply, they often paid much more (then also introduced their unique "top-up"). I used them reluctantly because Quidco used to be excellent and ensure people got paid, rogue merchants were dismissed and "members" looked after. That has all changed; according to Lynsey new management took over around the time they introduced a "new" system after "consultation" with their members. Ever since that day they have raced downhill like a world champion skier, determined to look after their own interests and maximise they income with total disregard for the people who gave them that opportunity.0 -
Cheers guys. I went for it earlier and so far has tracked ok on Quidco already.
I hadn't heard of TCB before, will try them in future.
I've used Quidco 10 times over the last year and been paid on all 10. From memory 3 of these failed to track and I had to raise a query. Longest payment was £60 from RBS Insurance. Bought the policy in May 2010, didn't track and had to wait until September to query, was paid in January 2011.0 -
Hi, bought a mobile contract with mobiles.co.uk through Quidco in January 2011 and was pleasantly surprised to receive the cashback within 29 days, probably the fastest payout I have ever had with Quidco. Even better was the fact that it was an auto cashback deal and ( from memory ) I think the £320 auto cashback was paid within 21 days.0

I second that.If it wasn't for the mistakes I made in the past (and learned from), I wouldn't be who and where I am today. It doesn't matter if you've cocked up, what matters is that you put it right and apologise. x0
