Hi and i just want some advice on finding the best deals for a pay monthly mobile phone. I have looked around a fair bit but I'm not sure Im more the wiser really.

I'm looking for the most competitive deal for the HTC Desire S which is coming out shortly. Ive looked at Carphone Warehouse, 02 and Phones4U but I just want to make sure I get the best deal.

I'm after 18 months (preferably) and 500mb or possible a Gig for browsing. Txts im not too bothered about but mins Im not sure about but I wouldnt mind seeing a list with options so I can decide.

So therefore, where are the best places to look? Which websites/companies should I be checking out?

Any ideas welcome.. cheers. :)

The best deals are generally retention deals for existing customers, so when it comes out you'll have to see what you can get from them.

It's a case of shopping around a lot, everyone has differentideals, so a best deal for one, maybe a poor deal for another, I suppose Tesco do value for money offers at the moment .

I don't think that it's always the case. Very often new customers can get a better deal at CPW / P4U etc. (+quidco/TCB) even without 'free gifts'.
  • any ideas whent he iphone 5 is coming out? And if the iphone 4 problems have been sorted out? And one last thing - does 16mgb or 24mgb make a huge difference please? I have an iphone 3 8mgb and it is being slow and the battery is not lasting more than a day max. Thanks. I want to stay with iphone as I have a mac and after years of no phones syncing with it is is fantastic to be able to plug and go.

    It's 16GB or 32GB, MGB is a type of car ;)

And no, it doesn't make any different to the running of the phone, it just limits how much crap you can store on it.
