hi,had an asda payg for 1 year never had any coverage problems phone cost about £15 pretty basic i used to top up £10 which at 8p per minute served me well they have recently improved this i.e when you top up £10 you text them and they put you on an asda simply talk bundle this gives you 200 minutes i.e 5p per minute you can also get for £20 500 minutes so 4p per minute(THESE HAVE TO BE USED WITHIN ONE MONTH) you do not have to take this simply talk bundle option , i purchased this phone as a relative was using one and i wouldn't have a moments hesitation in going with asda as at least asda aren't trying to extract every last penny from you i've also been able to top this phone up at newsagants good luck0
