Thank you kerri. Nightmare about your car but great about your rodent eviction :)

NSD #3 for me today. We have been out spending but it was on the £40 gift card that came from the house insurance. It arrived this morning, a very nice surprise. We also recieved our blockbuster vouchers so we've got a free rental for film night tonight.

    Have a lovely weekend all.

Still everyone's skin is diff - were you saying you're not keen on the Clinique you have? I've just started using the range and it's like having new skin - darn my non MSE face! :rotfl::rotfl:

Not exactly- I love most Clinique skin products, and all my makeup is Clinique  because I am allergic to most other. The product I bought I thought was a tinted moisturiser but is more like a foundation it turns out- I had forgotten that until I tried it again this morning. I think I'm going to mix it with a normal (non spf) moisturiser. Between the 2 products I will probably get the effect I want!!

Good evening all, did I miss anything? Igor left for the races without me because a certain somebody was using the domestic computer to fight enemy submarines all afternoon.....and I am a bit worried because he hasn't come back yet. The cauldron has been dropped off by the Tardis (narrowly missing next door's moggie) - minus the Pimms so I guess a good time was had by all. And not only is Igor missing but also my flowery wellies and hat that I had planned to wear. Added to that, I had to advance DS some of his pocket money so he could buy me a birthday present! (Kept telling him, 50p bunch of daffs would be fine, I'm not materialistic, but he never listens.)

So I am afraid today was a spendy day. Hopefully I will do better tomorrow.

Whooo!!!! Cheryl is human like the rest of us :j:j;) (I'm leg pulling in the nicest possible way) I was beginning to think that you were some kind of :A with all your whoopies and planning.... 3 pairs of the same shoes in diff colours - which ones did you wear in the end - or did you take them all and change at various times during the evening? :rotfl::rotfl:

I have more spends to declare, popped to Mr S to get some drinks/food for meetings at work on Mon/Tues which I'll get back on expenses, then OH wanted beer and of course I was going to pick a few bits up - nearly collapsed at the £55 bill, but my shopping was 'only' £24 of that, incl OH beer and a case of my fav beer down to £6 - 15 bottles, if I can squirrel them away from OH that should last me some time.

Also got table for car boot - first one of the year tomorrow, just taking a break from digging out all the stuff I put away from last year. So, early start for me tomorrow - I exepct it will be v.busy given the lovely weather, trying to hang out the clothes I think people will want to buy (i take my clothes 'pre-hangered' so I can get stuff set up asap) like summer tops and skirts....me organised? I'm a Virgo - I can't help it :rotfl:

    :rotfl:

I was going to wear the black ones (which would have been the ones I'd have bought had I only picked up one pair), but I couldn't find my black handbag - only a rather old white one. So I went with the silver shoes in the end :D

(But I did remember to take a pair of socks with me for when I exchanged them for bowling shoes, which saved the £1 they sell socks for if you've not got your own)

    And.....

    STRIKE !!!

Following all my fears of going bowling tonight (2nd time in life, and some 30+ years since the disaster that was my first time) I got a strike with my very first ball.....

Boy - you should have his face :rotfl:

But I followed it up with a zero frame, and had two or three more of those during the game - loving the gutters again!!! He did offer to put the buffer rails up for me, but I declined the offer - if the kids in the next lane didn't need them, then neither did I ;)

Found a pub afterwards that did good (and very reasonably priced) meals, and the service was better than I've encountered in dearer establishments.

Planning to do it again next week :)
    Cheryl
