Quite a big spendy for me today- but at least it was planned! :D

Went to the market for my fruit and veg, to the supermarket for a few other bits, and also to Clarkes to get DS some new trainers. To be honest, his old ones were in a bit of a state, and he wears them loads, so it was a bit overdue :p

One thing that pleased me today though- I was going to buy a moisturiser with SPF, until I remembered a Clinique SPF moisturiser I bought last year and wasn't keen on, so didn't use. I'm not so fussy these days, so I will save myself a good few pounds by using that up first :) I am also using up various other shower gels etc that I don't like much. It should generate some storage space as well as save money! :p

So- still stuck on 2 NSDs- but planning to stay at home lots with the kids next week!!

NEWS FLASH!!!! The resident rodent has been caught!! :j:j

Finally sussed there wasn't enough traction under the closing flap end, so the mouse was tripping it too easily, put a piece of card underneath and bingo bongo! One captive mousey.

We have a turf company/farm across the road from our street so I took him/her over there and then set him free - it was just like a BBC Documentary...all it was needed was David A to pop up :rotfl:I did however have a very confused deer peering at me over the fence - prob wondered what on earth I was doing, almost as much as I was :rotfl::rotfl:

Oh, the only thing is that OH had gone out and got another (diff) trap today as this one didn't seem to be working  We still have the receipt and could take it back, but I'm in two minds about whether it might come in useful in the future....

    Good morning all,

Low spend day yesterday, but a spend nonetheless. Took cat into vet for his exam under GA. I had to take him to the main vet surgery ( our local one is a smaller practice) so it was a bit of a longer journey. By the time Id done that I treated myself to gregg$ sandwich and a lemon drizzle bun - and bloomin good it was too!

Should be back on the wagon today, although we are going shopping this morning. OH badly needs jeans and tops so we are off to kit him out! I am not buying anything as I loathe shopping for clothes on a Saturday. I have vchrs for M&$ which I will use on my midweek days off when the shops are quieter.

    Have a lovely day everyone:)
