Florida 'Free Car' Hire

If I hire another car instead of my 'free' car from Thomson included in my holiday price, which would save me approx £100 over Thomson's insurance price, can they charge me for not using their car and do I need to let them know I am not going to use it??
Anyone recommend a good rental site for orlando - thanks:rotfl:

No you won't be charged but make sure if you are flying with Thomson Airways or whatever they call themselves these days, you book rental from Sanford not Orlando airport, otherwise you will land and find your car is an hour away. Most of the charter airlines sell Alamo, Dollar or Enterprise, you might be much better to use Avis, Budget or Hertz as they will not have the other 300 people on your flight at the car rental desk when you arrive!0

If the insurance is not compulsory with Thomson you might want to consider arrranging your own http://www.moneymaxim.co.uk/compare-car-hire-excess-insurance?affid=467750
