Go to the Bleepingcomputer website and download a copy of "Rkill" to a USB stick. Then go to Safe mode with Networking on the infected computer and run Rkill. Give it time and it'll tell you when it's killed all suspicious processes. Then open and update Malwarebytes and run a full scan. Remove everything it finds. As an extra security measure download and run the FREE SuperantiSpyware on full scan also.

    Let us know the result.
  • If it's crashing within a few seconds of booting from a set-up disk and hasn't even looked at the MBR or Windows can it be a virus? Just seems odd to me, somebody put me right . .

Before spending money unnecessarily, google your pc brand and model, and factory restore partition
