Mobile phone reception.

Does anyone know how I can find out what areas each mobile company cover ? It is a real nuisance as sometimes I cannot reach my husband as he works in different areas all the time.

Ring him and find out........forget the coverage maps......its all depends on day /location in areas of fringe reception.

Did u ever stop to consider that mobile reception may be perfect but your hubbie may not 'want' to receive calls from u & doesn't answer his phone!

Anyway, why does he work so late on that new project and travel so much after office hours
    LOL
  • If only  After 23 years I know when he's lying. :D

I need the answer to this question too. At home Orange and O2 both need me standing outside in the cold on a chair etc.

    Whilst Vodafone is fine.

Need to know if T-Mobile is OK but can't find anyone who is on T-Mobile.

Contract is up for renewal and I am a bit stuffed with at least 50% of the networks not working. And Vodafone are playing hardball.

With each sim in the phone(s), do a search for available networks. Each puts itself at the top anyway, then the others in order of signal strength. With a certain amount of reasoning, you'll be able to put all 4 in order.

Sitefinder is a government site which shows mobile base stations and which network they belong to. The only disadvantage is that you have to zoom right in to see where they are.

If you've seen a mast, you can check on there which it is. Water towers are favourite places for the networks to put their base stations, so keep your eyes open.
