oops sorry :o didnt mean to offend

just IMO it will look better with a "proper" silver spoon thats all :)

to match the mini silver whisk i am putting in the hot choc set too :)

no offence caused :D was just wondering whether it was due to other reasons - i.e. health!

  • They sell mini whisks in my local cookware shop - don't know if everywhere has these still. Also in the cookery department of department shops, though they may be expensive there.

They are selling chocolate stirrers in M+S as well this year and quite a few of the shop-made hot choc mug gift sets also include them. I would love to get some!

Seems very expensive for what you get!
  • My tip would be to get wooden or bamboo skewers, snip the point off so that they have a flat end and then push carefully into a malteser. You could then dip these as many times as you like to build up the layers for a chocolate swizzle stick. They'd be long and graceful and you could decorate them with edible gold leaf or other decorations. And who wouldn't like a ball of honeycomb to munch at the end of stirring their hot chocolate.

Bit like this, though more bargainous!
