It's not changing for a couple of months, so you can leave things as they are until then.0

is that the lloyds regular saver--i thought the max you could save was 250pm--if its not, can you adjust it online to increase the payment amount?mfw'11 No68- 55k mortgage İO--little to nothing saved! i must do better.0 -
Maybe they've wised up to people using them as savings accounts rather than a current account (which is what it is). Maybe they should have left the rates the same but limited people to 1 Vantage account.
Once again the small minority spoil it for the rest.
I dont think it was a small minority. They openly offered 3 vantage accounts in their T&C's so can hardly expect most people to use them as pure current accounts.
As far as the banks are concerned any which way to milk them and make it public knowledge through sites like this has to be good. Afterall Lloyds never asked me for my permission to use my taxpayers money to bail them out.
I suspect there will be a lot of transfers of £42k (3 a/cs each for me and Mrs Kar) out of Lloyds coffers come 27 June and rightly so.
Now where is the next cash cow?If the ball had gone in the net it would have been a goal.If my Auntie had been a man she'd have been my Uncle.0 -
£15k at 3% still isn't that bad considering what's out there. You'll use next week's ISA allowance immediately with the extra £6k!0

I've a'lready took a punt at the whole £10.2k into Stocks and Shares ISA this year as the best cash rates were mainly for 5 yearsIf the ball had gone in the net it would have been a goal.If my Auntie had been a man she'd have been my Uncle.0

This might sound stupid, but I have 7k in my vantage account, so with the new rates will I get 3% on my 7k, or will I only get 3% up to 5k and take the 2k out and put it elsewhere as I would get no interest on the 2k if I left it in vantage ?.0
