Orange iPhone sim only and dolphin info needed please
Hi, I am with orange on the £25 per month iPhone sim only tariff.
I called them yesterday to ask for my PAC number as I have seen a cheaper deal.
The guy on the phone asked what offer I had seen, and then offered me
600 mins unlimited texts and 1gb of data for £15.32 per month.
It's basically the dolphin 20 deal, but with 100 more minutes and an extra data bundle added.
My question is , will all the data settings for Internet still work exactly the same??? As it's not an iPhone tariff. And has anyone got a similar Deal using an iphone.
Apparently after a year it will revert back to dolphin 20 (the price goes up to £20 with 600min, 500mb data and unlimited texts.)But he said to ring back then.
Thankyou!!!!! Is it competitive? I am pleased with orange coverage.

It's not a bad plan at all, the data settings won't change, so what are you waiting for?0 -
thanks for the reply,
i was originally told by an orange salesman that i needed an iphone specific tariff, this obviously isnt the case then is it.
the only thing i am losing is bt openzone, but i dont rate that anyway and ive only used it a couple of times in a shopping centre. so i will not miss that.0 -

data is data, I notice there are iphone specific tariffs as there are specific BB and smartphone tariffs, I know with BB they have there own virtual network for BB messaging, the others though just allow as you say access to wifi, but as said as long as the handset knows how to 'dial' into the gprs and the account allows access then all is good. :j0 -
I have my 3GS on a non iphone plan as I brought it to Orange, if you take a iphone plan with Orange you are stuck in for the minimum term of the contract you tookSO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe0

I bought the phone sim free from apple, then got an orange iPhone sim only deal on a 30 day rolling contract.0

I was Wondering how this worked out for you as I am currently on dolphin 25 and was looking to buy an iPhone 3GS handset and use my existing contract sim. I've rang up orange and they keep trying to get me to pay extra on top of my contract for an iPhone data plan even though i already have 500mb of data on my contract...0
