Stealing a Cat??!!

A wee suggestion from me - if there's a local shop/post office, they may have a board for selling/wanted/lost/found items & you could put a card up there.
We have a "stray" cat in our street which was kicked out by people at the bottom of the road, this wee soul has gone from being totally ignored and not well nourished, to having a bed and food in several houses up and down the street and is happy and well looked after!Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Thanks everyone...bit of an update!
We have now moved into the house, plus cat!! turned out she didn't have a home and one of the neighbours was feeding her, but couldn't let her in the house as his own cat wouldn't let her in!! she was sleeping outside, poor thing.
Took her to the vet and she isn't microchipped, they think she has been spayed (how do you know?!)...mainly because she would have been knocked up by now given the amount of cats about!!
trying to find if she is a lost kitty, but if we do keep her, do we need to get her up to date with vaccines etc before we get pet insurance? the vet said she might need some dental work and I've read that some insurances don't cover theis, is that true?
many thanks!!0 -
If the neighborhood consensus is that kitty is homeless then run with it. Most policies do not cover dental work and it would be counted as pre-existing condition which would be excluded anyway.
Thanks for coming back to us BTWProud of who, and what, I am. :female::male::cool:0 -
A nice happy ending. Btw, cats are known for choosing their owners.Never Knowingly Understood.

May is half price vaccination month.
You can print off a voucher and take it to a local vet ( there is a list that take them but pets at home do)
I can't find a link for it but I am sure it is this month and that it can be found online cos I got a voucher 2 weeks ago and did one of my cats.There is a race of men that don't fit in; A race that can't stand still;
So they break the hearts of kith and kin, and roam the world at will.

If I'd have known that I'd have delayed Daves jabs by a month! He goes to the vets at PAH, initially because they were cheap, but with experience they are absolutly excellent!Proud of who, and what, I am. :female::male::cool:0 -
Congratulations on being officially adopted by your new cat

We have an odd cat that keeps coming in our house.. we don't feed it on purpose but it eats our other cat's food. Similarly, our cat disappears for a couple of days now and then so I think its getting fed elsewhere. Like others have said, I would see if it has been chipped and go from there.0

I had two cats but could never find them when I tried to collect them after moving out from living with my ex. He ended up just keeping them (they were brother and sister) but the male was hardly ever coming home then and now they never see him at all. He was squabbling with his sister a bit and just left for good now by the looks of it.
Cats are just a law unto themselves aren't they :-)"Life is what you make of it, whoever got anywhere without some passion and ambition?0
