misunderstanding over dates when booking ticket

After discussing various options I narrowed the dates for my trip to two: leaving on different dates but both returning on the same date. The agent, Flight Centre, gave me a price for both. I asked the agent to hold one of the options but when he did so he inputted the wrong date for the return trip and made it a day later. When I decided to go ahead and book the trip over the phone with them I didn't notice this as I was more concerned that he had got the outward date right and assumed the return would be correct. I paid for the flight and as soon as he sent the itinerary and the receipt I noticed the dates. The itinerary says that my reply by email would constitute confirmation of their terms and conditions which state that the dates are correct. I emailed him straightaway saying it was incorrect but it was the end of the day on Saturday. No ticket had been issued. I have spent the last few days trying to get them to change the date but they are refusing. They have now issued the ticket even though I have not accepted their terms and conditions. I know I should have picked up on it but it was there mistake. Is there anything I can do?

Call the debit card company or Bank/B Soc and see if they can help, explain that you don't think you agreed to the merchant's terms and conditions.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0
