Can I spend my Virgin air miles on anything else?

For example a night or two at a hotel or virgin train journey? Last year I thought I saw on virgin flying club website that club miles can be spent on a hotel booking but when I checked again I couldn't find it.
I need to spend my miles before expiry date and can't afford to fly long distance with virgin for next year or so.

here is the hotel booking page

you can also spend your miles with other airlines, spa days etc http://www.virgin-atlantic.com/en/gb/frequentflyer/spendmiles/flyingclubpartners/index.jsp0 -
I believe that any activity on your Virgin frequent flyer account would "bank" your miles. I am in the same boat and have just be advised that if you purchase a Virgin train ticket through Virgin's own website you can input your frequent flyer number and not only bank your extant miles but also earn a few more.....
Seems like a plan to me! I think it may (no guarantees) also work with other Virgin brand services.0 -
When you log into your virgin account you have the option to go shopping and earn miles when you buy something online - much like quidco. Just click through to buy something you were going to get anyway and that should update your miles and extend the date on them by a couple of years or however long it is.0
