BMI euro and pound pricing difference for same flight

Question is it legal for an airline to charge 2 different prices for the same flight difference being the price is in a different currency?

If you book return flight from eastmidlands to amsterdam you get the price for both legs in pounds.
Then say you want to book each leg separately.
The return (one way) leg is now in Euro s and the price is not even close to the pound version.

£36.99 conversion to Euros 41.95
€56.24 conversion to Pounds 49.58
£12.59 pounds difference just for a difference in currency.

Its entirely up to them to price whatever they want. I regularly see shops that accept Euro have euro prices way higher than the exchange rate... most seem to price £1 = €1.50.

Some other places are worse... Pay and Display car parks in Northern Ireland costs €2 to get the exact same parking as £1 would buy.
