Makes no sense at all, first they are suggesting Paypal and then by cheque - scam.

Plus I would only accept cash.

Hi Guys, i just want to say a big thank you to you all, if it wasnt for me getting it into my head that somthing wasnt right and searching the net, i would have not known this guy was ripping people off and that could of been me:(

I had the same email and names etc.... and again he used the expression GBP which confused me a little, and he was asking us to go to the Western Union to submit funds to his Courier to pick up my car which is worth £6700!!!! luckily we became very suspicious and simply put his email address in to google which brought up this forum! i replied in a nice but to the point manner, if you like:) i think he got the point!

Im now reporting him to the fraud dep on monday with the police. This forum stopped me getting ripped off with thousand of pounds and it could help others too!

So once again, thanks, ill sell me car to someone genuine.

I wouldn't waste your time with the police Jenna
These guys are based in africa usually, and therefore are not under the jurisdiction of uk police.
They also haven't done anything yet, except enquire about your car.
The best thing you can do is ignore them
