I think you would have got more attention if you had started your own thread rather than tacking it on to an old one, but I am here now!

And the help I will give you is as follows:

    1. Do not communicate further with them in any way, shape or form. It was unfortunate you contacted them before coming on here, but a lot of people do that as they think it is a real parking fine imposed by people who have some sort of authority.

    2. It is not a real fine, only councils or police can give you a real fine. It is a fake and it is completely unenforceable.

    3. Although they know that, it won't stop them from trying to scare you into paying it with a series of letters threatening this and threatening that, it is all a well-rehearsed standard procedure they use on everyone.

    4. From you account I understand you did pay for parking so you owe them a big fat zero (that's nothing) anyway. Their made up fine is completely unenforceable.

    5. They know it- now so do you.

    6. And they know that they would never really succeed in court, so although they threaten it they NEVER do it.

Just forget it ever happened, because when they realise you are not mug enough to pay them- SO WILL THEY.

Your child has sensory processing disorder?

Then you and your child were entitled to reasonable adjustments to be made as he is protected under the Equality Act 2010.

You could take this to Watchdog and the press.

And/or you could complain strongly to Asda about the disability law breach, since you have told their agent the parking company about your son's condition AND you did purchase a P&D ticket as soon as you could, so you have done nothing wrong.

And in particular, as the PPC is in breach of the Equality Act 2010 you could sue them and Asda for compensation (few hundred or even a few thousand). I suspect if you followed it through - with a simple 'moneyclaim online' claim for which you can reclaim the small fee 'when' you win - then Asda would settle out of Court for a tidy sum. You don't need a solicitor. Come back and tell us about what happens and if you want to sue then please ask for some help here first.

Stop worrying! You are in a great position here to actually gain something from this unlawful act by the PPC - but you need to alert Asda about your son's disability to give them a chance to stop their agent's harassment. Stand up and be counted - identify yourself and your son's condition to Asda and then if they still fail to handle this properly you can sue them.

You have a hold over Asda and the PPC - you have them by the short and curlies and you didn't even know it!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
