Saving for deposit?

Apologies if this is in the wrong section. Is there any bank accounts/ISAs I should be looking at if I'm looking to start saving for a deposit for a house?
Boyfriend and I would have between £2000-£4000 to put in to begin with but I'm not sure what the best course of action would be for that money.
Any help appreciated

wrong section but your best bet is cash ISA. If your quick you could put in your savings now and still have 5100 quota to use next yr (max per financial yr). Look for one over 3%0

savings, or use comparison site which shows ISAs0

http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.php?f=17 I would focus your attention on the Cash ISA section for saving of your first £5100 in any one financial year
Also this link http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/savings/best-cash-isa the best rate at present is santander and if you put your savings in within 7 days you will be able to add another 5100 to your account in next financial year0 -
There's also the Santander First Home Buyer (or similar) account if you fit their criteria - beats the ISA rates.0
