Looking for rolling sim only deal for my Blackberry..

My Orange contract expires in a month, but I only got my Blackberry 6 months ago so am looking to save a bit f money by going onto a sim-only deal.

Do I need unlimited data? I'm scared of getting hammered for data charges due to my Blackberry being constantly connected for BBM/email etc?

Any help much appreciated, thanks!

You will need a plan which includes BIS (Blackberry Internet Services) without that you'll get no emails, BBM etc! Currently looking for a plan myself as mine is about to expire with o2 soon!

T-Mobile- 100 minutes, 100 texts and unlimited internet £10.21

Orange do 500MB, (which is quite a lot), 500 minutes and unlimited texts for £20.42 a month.

They are the cheapest by far. Sorry can't post links as i'm a new user.

The BB messaging doesnt actually use that much. You will only use alot if you regularly receive or send emails with large attachements. Likewise using the internet for general surfing doesn't use much, but if you download MP3s or watch alot of stuff on You Tube, that will use a lot of data!

Just to compare, from memory, I think the Vodafone tarrif is 300 minutes, unlimited text, 500MB + BB for £25 a month on a rolling 30 contract?
