Not a very good repair shop then is it.. The BSOD will always tell you at the top of the screen what the issue is.. Write it down.

...although you will have to go into System, Advanced and turn off the option to automatically restart the computer otherwise you'll just get a quick flash of blue before it reboots.

Not necessarily, it depends on the situation.

OP, if you're able to, download and burn a copy of Ultimate Boot CD for Windows from here (it's free) and see if you can boot your system to that. If you still get the BSOD from that environment, then you can rule out a software fault immediately.
The pen is mightier than the sword, and considerably easier to write with.

What sort of spec is this PC if it cost £1200 just for the tower alone?!

My thought is that the BSOD can occur for more than one reason, and it is vaguely possible that they fixed one problem but another came along.

When they replaced the hard drive, did they reinstall the OS or just replicate it from the old drive? If it was software and they replicated it, then the problem would also be present on the new drive.

Have you installed any software, drivers, etc. or played with the BIOS settings? It is possible that the store fixed it and you've re-introduced the problem.

Alternatively, it is possible that the PC is borked and the wrong bits are being replaced.

(I'm not suggesting any of the above, merely pointing out some possible options.)

To upload a pic. UPLOAD it to a host

Then you can use that URL to post here by INSERTING IMAGE (No clue what the symbol is for it, a bit like an envelope?)

While it's most unfortunate, you really should have got this resolved well before 2.5 years had passed..... if it was the same fault occuring randomly every since owning it you should have insisted on it being repaired or replaced way back when it was new.

Blue screens can be causes by odd things, if it were me I'd reload the O/S, remove all hardware except the minimum to run then see if BSODS appear, if not, start adding hardware and see what causes it.

Could be memory, modules, graphics cards, drivers, motherboard, almost anything.

    What motherboard/cpu/memory are you using?
