Not just value for money but also which one is best for customer service. I'd like to hear your experiences please. I've been an AOL customer for 12 years and for the past few years I pay them for my calls too. Line rental is paid to BT, my contract with AOL comes to an end soon. I've disliked their customer service now for the past two years. Think it's time I took my custom elsewhere:idea::idea::idea:

Depends on what area you are in. Check out samknows.com to see if your exchange has any LLU/cable providers on it.
I am with Plusnet and in general they are ok. I was looking to move to Talktalk but purely for cost saving not for better CS.Registered Linux user #497422 :beer:0 -

Iv just re-negotiated my contract with BT. I have been offered unlimited broadband option 3 and unlimited landline calls during the day for £13. The line rental is £13.60. Saving of £10 as we were paying £36 before plus calls which were costing a fortune. We now pay £26.60 per month and free landline calls. I think we have had a good result and to be honest we have never had a problem with BT.0

BT line rental will be going up to 13.90 soon.. according to their website, but I am looking at this deal myself!:exclamatiTo the internet.. I need to complain about something!0 -
I did query that with the woman i spoke to and she said that the call package was going down by 30p so it would even its self out. I think its a good deal and if thing do go wrong they do sort it out.0

Ok after calling AOL to discuss cancellation, I've been offered something i just couldn't resist. For £7.20 per month I have the same broadband and unlimited calls 24/7, its a 12 month contract. I'm paying BT line rental and for caller display about £15.90 approx. I can't take line retal to AOL because they don't have ADSL 2 on my exchange yet. Also, first month is free.
I know I didn't want to stay with AOL after 12 years but it was more or less the same deal as Talk Talk were offering till end of March. Didn't want the hassle of going through the switch over and the problems you hear about.Even time will never heal these scars0
