How annoying about the conservatory, hopefully they will sort it out tomorrow, can you not leave some Trading Standards literature laying around for them to see

    Radish,

That's a great idea. Or a leaflet entitled 'Demanding Compensation for When Things Go Wrong'. :rotfl:

  • i am bored! Not got any money to spend so an evening on here is my idea of fun these days!

You must need welly boots round your house what with the puddles caused by the conservatory and the cat leaking!

As for the drug user, charming manipulative behaviour is the norm for addicts. You dont need to forgive or forget

It's been a dry day here so no need for wellies in the conservatory. And the puppy pads did their job and are now in the bin. I can see that this could get costly. Any advice re re-toilet training an old kitty with dementia (or should that read a demented cat) will be greatfully received.

I was hoping for a NSD today but we ran out of Fl0ra. I popped to the local shop and was expecting to pay a small fortune but it was the same price as Mr A so I was very pleased.

The kids decided a while ago that they would send some of their unused stuff to Music Magpie and I asked them to send some of mine too. They received £85 so we are now going to see who gets how much. Mine is probably pennies but at least it is no longer cluttering up the house!

It rained heavily on Friday and is now leaking in two places.

Finally, it feels like Christmas in this house. DH & I went shopping at Mr T yesterday morning and spent a massive £123.00  as DD just dropped into conversation that she needed three presents for school friends and Secret Santa. Then over to a pet store to stock up on puppy pads and anti-cat-pee-smell spray. A very spendy day. But then we went home and put up the decorations and I am really pleased with how it looks.

More spending today as we have to drive for two hours to visit relatives. DH's side of the family never drive down to visit us (have they heard about the cat pee smell?) which has annoyed us over the years, but now we just accept it as the way it is. So lots of driving to places today and exchanging of presents that I still have to wrap

    Have a good day all.

It's been a really lovely Christmas, quite quiet but that's just the way I like them.

However, now the house seems empty as the children are away with my parents. I miss them terribly, but I don't miss the bickering. They will be having a great time as my parents house has woods, a lake and lots of ride on lawn mowers.

I can't believe how much food we have in this house. DH & I are eating meals on a what needs eating first basis!!

Today we are off to London to have a grown up day out. Not sure what we will get up to but that's half the fun!
