I think in obvious situations (i.e. minor and major road intersections) it'll be blindingly obvious who would usually have right of way (albeit proceeding with relative caution). . When lots of seemingly same sized roads are converging then it's a lot less clear-cut... and Cities in particular are full of them. So Mr BMW owner ryan is not totally off but probably will be in 80% of situations
The bbc report states that the system exists elsewhere in the world, but they have signs indicating priority (aaah, I think, that's what that sign means!), so maybe you'd need that to help.0 -
Look slike we have hit a nerve0

How very judgmental and borderline racist some of you are.
"Oh, look at me, I can drive well, I was never a learner, I've never made a mistake whilst driving, people shouldn't be allowed on the road if they don't fit the very narrow demographic that I deem to be fit drivers. Or own a BMW".
Race card played. Thread over.0 -

It works well enough in Spain.
The scheme is not meant for major A roads crossing each other at rush hour. It is meant for B/C roads crossing/joining A/B roads.

What? What's wrong with that?
Don't see anyone speeding there. Move along, nothing to see.

Jase- they're not speeding, but driving the wrong way down a sliproad- lucky nobody was injured.
The amber lights I've used in a few countries- they do work reasonably well for the most part.0 -

^^ If speed wasn't involved, there couldn't possibly have been an accident“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”
