Hi, thanks for reply. At the moment I've got PCs etc. all happily using the wired/wireless network in the house. I've also now got this dead nifty little Logik internet radio in the kitchen - almost permanently tuned to 3-4 Classic rock stations. I want a permanent connection to let me & OH listen to this in what we call our 2nd lounge (away from kids, animals etc.) Hence it's a bit overkill to use a pocket pc/laptop just for this. I could invest in another internet radio (£60 - £100) but I thought there might be a simpler (& cheaper) way to just connect the existing Logik wirelessly. Unfortunately it hasn't got remote control or anything snazzy so just want a simple connection.
Alternatively, does anyone know of any other internet radios out now which have a few more functions (like remote) than the Logik IR100?
Whoops, sorry Albertross posted before my reply to Zahc. yes, that's what I was looking for but the couple I've physically handled, like the recent £20 Tevion one in Aldi, are just too complicated (scart & din connectors but no jack/phono). If you can post a link to a cheap, basic one I'd be very grateful.0 -
Well you can get scart/phono converters for a couple of quid.
These are just two random ones, not the cheapest or the nicest looking, but the photos clearly show phono inputs/outputs.

one problem you may have is that wireless routers use the same frequency band as senders, so you may have to tweak the channels to stop interference.Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0 -
Yep, that looks like the sort of thing to try - EBay here I come!!
Thanks again.0
