    Official Company Representative
I am an official company representative of Experian. MSE has given permission for me to post in response to queries about the company, so that I can help solve issues. You can see my name on the companies with permission to post list. I am not allowed to tout for business at all. Hmm, here's my personal experience. OH signs up for 'free trial'. No report arrives in this time. He continues with the contract in the vain hope that he'll get the information he wants. Monthly fee kicks in. No report is forthcoming despite repeated requests. Decides to cancel contract. Takes another two months to actually achieve this.

It's bullshit, people. The information's deliberately withheld during the 'free' period (if it ever arrives) to ensure that people start paying.

I have signed up for Creditexpert a few times and have never had a problem cancelling by phone. Last time was in December and I was given a " free trail " again as I had not used the service in a few years. After a few months I rang and cancelled, no problem, no hard sell to stay with them. I recieved a email follow up to say service cancelled from xxxx date.

I would add I also have used Equifax and same thing, no issue cancelling.

You say no report " arrived" I have never recieved a report through post unless requested a paper copy, reports are available online once free trail is activated.

Sorry, yes. To clarify, no report was available online. My post would better have said 'No report was forthcoming'.

What a wonderfully professional response from the company representative.

Why? Is the customer always right, even when they are clearly wrong?
