Vistaprint contact details

Hello - I am even more concerned have done a search on Vistaprint and found so many complaints about how they do business.
I have had emails from Vistaprint for some time with special offers and succombed at the weekend and order 100 free postcards. The amount due, a charge for uploading a logo and p&p was £12.81. I went through to paypal where this amount was requested. I clicked the pay icon and assumed that was that. However, I then received a confirmation of my order from Vistaprint of £32.33 which included and extra 150 postcards. I checked my paypal account and sure enough £32.33 was deducted. How could that happen when the amount requested was £12.81?
I cancelled the order immediately as I have no desire to purchase and extra 150 postcards.
I have tried in vain to find a contact number for Vistaprint (I have emailed vistaprint but am not holding my breath waiting for a reply).
Does anyone have a contact telephone number for their customer services?
Has this happened to anyone and if so did they get their money back.

Vistaprint have some staggering deals, but you need your wits about you when using their site as you've discovered. I've had goodie packs I ordered from them including a custom mug, vinyl banner, 100 cards and a sheet of stickers for £8 delivered. But boy do I study those links carefully before hitting the 'pay' button!!0

I recently ordered business cards from Vista, the cost escalated from £2 + £3.08 Postage, (Exorbitant) by the time I had entered my PayPal details the cost had risen to £14:70, I called them, an american answered and said she would recalculate the cost and arrived at a figure of
£6:20 - HOW? tax, she said, 50% I shouted, I hate this type of marketing, cancel my account.
I already held a caustic view of American marketing, this didn't help.0 -

You realise tax will be charged on the total including postage right? Not just on the price of the £2 product.
Otherwise everybody would be selling everything for a quid and charge £1k shipping
But I do agree vistaprint are a little tacky. They prey on the fact people don't take muchh notice of what they are doing.0 -
ive used Vistaprint for many years and have never had any paying problems as ive paid exactly what i ordered and agreed., but make sure you dont click one of their associated offers, such as order extras for XX etc.
the only problem i would say is quality and care of orders, ive had postcards that were sent in a box smaller that the cards, so cards were creased ( these were replaced no problem) letterheads where you can see that white lines through coloured area as if the ink on the printer was running low or the heads needed cleaning (received refund).0 -
I've had no problems with vistaprint products BUT
- you have to be very careful what you click on at the end. Do you want your 'free' postcards at £3 or do you want EXTRA postcards AND a matching mug and pen AND a website AND a trial of a franking machine for £63? The 'pay' buttons look identical.
- the total incl postage and VAT isn't displayed until the final stage. It's illegal in the UK to display ex-VAT prices to consumers (and some of their stuff is clearly, and they market it as such, for non-business customers).
You also only get 2 'free' items per order.
The 'free' items are usually fairly good value (provided you don't mind the vistaprint branding) but their list prices are expensive. However, they do have very low minimum order quantities (eg 1 pen) whereas most business printers would have a minimum order qty (eg 100 pens).
Also watch the 'upload' charge for using your own image - choose 1 image that can be reused for everything, don't pay to upload multiple images.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0 -
I had no problem with Vista Print. I ordered got aound about 500 postcards from them and paid approx £6 inc p&p by the time the freebie offers went on. They were fast in delivery too.0
